Did you party last night?

I have the biggest headache I've had in a long time.

I originally went out to have a quick beer for the new year. I saw a lot of people I haven't seen in a long time doing the same thing. I ended up walking uptown to my sister's bar. I saw even more people I haven't seen in ages.

The trouble began when the bar didn't close. They had a permit to stay open all night.

So, being the idiot I am by nature, I stayed out drinking until 7:00AM. It's a good thing my boss was out partying, too.

And to make things worse, I woke up and I wasn't home.
But on the bright side I wasn't naked, either.

My new year's resolution:

Do not drink for the rest of the year.

I sat at my computer loading an OS and tearing out my hair because every time I'd load the sound card drivers it would crash the system. Until about 3 am.

well, i had planned to go to my friends house and drink a little beer. when we couldnt get beer (our resident 21-year-old was not present) we happened across some pinapple rum. the bottle was gone between 5 people in 10min. i clambored(right word?) around my friends house for about 30min speaking in the language of alkeehall. then i passed out and woke up feeling like i hadnt eaten in 3 years. but it was fun!

Nope. Another fuddy duddy here!

No party here either. Next door neighbours was gonna join us for a little while, but the lady's father was in a bad way in a nursing home, so we ended up looking after their kids instead. He died yesterday afternoon. One New Year's day they'll not forget in a hurry.

Hope ya'll had a better time than us.
