Favorite ethnic food?
Personally, I like Indian and Thai. I've had Ethiopian (weird bread used in place of utensils); Lebanese (awesome food, battery acid for coffee); Greek (love Tzatziki and Ouzo); and of course, the more mainstream ones, i.e., Italian, German, etc.
So how about you? What do you eat when you're sick of burgers and fried chicken?

Wow.. lots. Experimenting is fun, and in Los Angeles there are many authentic cultural restaurants from which to choose.
Greek, Polish, French, Italian, German, English (GB), Thai, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Indian, Chinese, Mexican, Cuban, Moroccan, Russian .. are some of the foods I've eaten and liked | |

Anything spicy with alot of flavor. I enjoy a good curry, I've had some Korean spicy pork stuff that is incredibly good, and there is a Chinese place in Chattanooga, TN that has some amazingly good chinese, he can make it really hot and spicy (tell him 2 stars..and he'll try to talk you out of it, but it's really good and hot) Yum Yums is the name- go there for awesome food.
My favorite though, is good mexican. I'm a sucker for good mexican food. A new place just opened up near hear that is pretty tasty and cheap.

Heh, my better half likes it spicy, too. There's a little Korean place in Urbana where have lunch at occasionally. I spent two tours of duty in Korea, but I could never handle the spicy stuff. She's never been there and loves the food. Go figure.
This weekend we're driving out to Indy for Indian. Can't wait.

TOP 3:
Japanese--esp. sushi, the most w00t food there is...also back in the day, I got a ba-a-a-d hangover, and my friend made me Nabeyaki Udon... a soup kinda deal with everything in it...in 20 minutes I was fine! (Watch the Shichimi--fiery dried pepper)
Chinese: esp. the spicy stuff--Hunan, Szechuan... anything but that gooey 'Mandarin' candy-food.
Mexican: I was raised on Tex-Mex (tacos, enchiladas, burritos, etc.) but Mexico is a big country, with a LOT of regional styles, almost all of them to die for. Also Cuban has a lot of similar influences.
