What animals eat grass (weeds)?
What animals eat grass (weeds)? I'm getting sick of pulling weeds and trying to tear up roots and removing soil attached to roots. I think an animal to live in my backyard might be the easiest and cheapest way to go.

Goats, I think. Plus, they're fun to play with...they seem to instinctlively push back whenever you push down on their forheads. They'll keep it up forever. Hey, I never said they were real bright...
Heck, they eat weeds all day! |

Goats.
There's a hillside around here that is too steep to mowed or tended to by normal landscaping. About 2 or 3 times a year I see a about twenty goats there eating all the grass. I don't know if the goats are the land owners or if you can actually rent the goats for a few days or what. But they certainly do a good job. The hillside is practicaly bare when they are done with it.

Cats will eat grass. Of course, it comes back in less than digested fashion. Usually on your carpet.
"IN-DI-GESTIBLE, THAT'S WHAT YOU ARE..." Heh, heh, ol' Nat King Cole's got nothin' on me.

Didn't the White House get sheep or something during World War II to cut the lawn because the people who cut the lawn left to go into the army?
