Gun control advocates have no case.

Ponder this:

1. The number of physicians in the U.S. is 700,000.
2. Accidental deaths caused by physicians...120,000 per year.
3. Accidental deaths per physician os 0.171 according to the U.S. Dept. of Health.

Then, think about this

1. The number of gun owners in the U.S. is more than 80 million.
2. The number of accidental gun dealths per year for ALL AGE GROUPS is 1,500.
3. The number of accidental dealths per gun owner is 0.0000188.

Statistically then, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.

FACT: Not everyone has a gun, but almost everyone has at least one doctor.

Should we ban Doctors before this gets out of hand?

I at them because they have no case, yet keep trying and trying.

I agree. If they really wanted to stop "the killing", I would think they'd be trying to ban automobiles.

If they rerally want to stop the killing, they should be finding ways to cure AIDS and Cancer.

Yeah, but doctors and cars aren't designed to be lethal.

They're only lethal when there's an accident.

Guns are lethal when they're doing what they're supposed to do. That's why guns are scary, and doctors and cars aren't.

This also explains the anti-gun people's bias, as that bias is based upon emotion, not fact; i.e., "Guns scare me, let's BAN them!"

Further: "Doctors and cars are friendly and fun...let's keep THEM!"

SPLOTT!!

Hey, lions scare me. Yet we don't egt rid of those.

In a perfect world, we don't need guns. But it's not exactly perfect.

Hey it could be easier. What if individuals owned biological and chemical weapons? c4 explosive? Tanks? Apache/Hind helicopters?

Guns you have a loud 'BOOM', and can be traced somewhat easily.

Why ban guns?

The one segment of society that is most likely to carry a firearm on a regular basis (outside of law enforcement) are wheel chair handicapped people.

Are the gun ban nuts saying that these people don't have the right to defend themselves? Or are they really trying to say that a person strapped to wheelchair should take self defense classes?

I give up...
