No i wasn't drinking. I wish though

OK, here is what happened. I was about to turn left at an intersection (normal intersection, no lights or stop signs) one big ass truck on the other opposite side of the intersection is also about to turn left, his left my right. He waved me to turn so I did but I didn't see another car coming from the opposite direction so *kabaam* It was dark and the road slippery due to recent snow storms

It was my fault and I knew it

No car for me for a long time. I'm 20 year old. I'm a male and I already had 2 car wrecks and this is going to be my 3rd. Two of which were due to excessive speeding My insurance is going to be around at least $200 USA a month now. The cop also going to give me a citation for not yielding. What a son of a b****, give me a ticket cause I didn't see the other car.
I also have a painful infection on my lower jaw and I might need a root canal operation.

**** **** **** What a way to start a new year

My offer still stands. Anybody want to shoot me?

moral of the story , never trust a trucker who is waving his fingers at you. (ok, bad joke.)

If you couldn't see what was beside him what makes you think he had a better view in his mirror?

all I would have made of his wave was me to go first.

Before you admit fault see a lawyer and a doctor. In that order.

I wasn't gonna say anything out figured he'ld had a rough enough day sofar.

Hey, it's life, Stuff happens, be grateful you have your health (well most of it ack root canal, I'ld rather have it pulled). Life does not revolve around a car, nor driving (anybody know how to convince my wife of this?). Live and learn, next time a truck waves you by, go slow and look well

I drive a big truck and one thing they teach us at our saftey meetings is "NEVER EVER" wave to tell someone it's ok to go. I believe they said I could be held responsible (not sure if it's the law or not though) Of course he could say he was yeilding right of way and not telling you to go. Yeah I hate that too when you can't see around a truck or van. You should have inched your way out until it was safe. (I'm sure you realize that now) sorry. Though lesson but at least you're OK

As my dear old dad taught me when I was learning to drive. "Don't worry about the color of the light or what the sign read's they won't kill you, the nut in the other vehicle WILL."
