Bill Frist- Did the Democrats really win?
I think this is quite funny. As most of you remember, Trent Lott was dishonorably kicked out of the senate after a possibility of him being racist. Oh well...the republicans soon after got a new majority leader, Bill Frist.
The democrats are celebrating now. Obviously, they don't know him very well, do they.
Bill Frist is actually much more conservative than Lott ever was. The news media claims him inexperienced. He may not have been in office as long as Lott, but he has enough experience. His biggest weakness, as most of you have seen, is that he is not a public speaker. His speaches are not very good, but he has gotten better since his election.
Intresting, eh?
I wonder what all will happen under Frist. I hope something happens, as I highly doubt that Lott would have done much (too entrenched).
