first computer

hey everyone, how about posting what your first computer was?

I started out with a timex sinclair that had 8k of memory but came with a 32k upgrade that plugged in the back, chicklet keyboard and no way to input anything except by typing it

was sure glad to upgrade to a coleco adam

ok i admit it im a friggin dinosaur l8r all

Actually, I was an electrician in NYC in 1969 working in the Wall St.
area and installed a few of these for various stock brokerage cos.
A whole floor of equipment sits on your desktop now. Imagine that!!!

I had a Compaq prolineA 425s 486 DX2 12MB ram 120mb HDD

286-10 O/C'd to 12Mhz 640K mem 40Mb RLL computer speaker, and a monochrome monitor but I've worked on XT's aswell.

But I think a more correct answer would be:
Cyrix 386/33mhz (called a 386-to-486 cpu. basically it was a 386 cpu that could run the 486 instuction set)

No, his second computer was an old Atholon Xp 1600+. Wow, that's ancient

The OLDEST computer I've used is a TRS-80 Model III . My Graphing Calculator is more powerful. Also, what's with the processor being next to the monitor tube? Reminds me of the original iMacs. *Snicker...*
