Ahhh, cable at last!!
FINALLY got high-speed access again. Mediacom came in today and set me up. Went amazingly well, too. I wanted two IP addresses so I could separate my wired network from the wireless. I have two Linksys routers hooked to a hub and then to the cable modem. It worked perfectly right from the start. What a shock.

Waaaaay cool surfing in the fast lane again.
