Sounds like a plan to me................. |
I agree Speedo.
over here where I live at, you see alot of people on the corners asking for money.
There is this lady who always asks for 50cents to a dollar. And I told her already to get herself a freaking job and that at the 7-11 right across the street are hiring!!
My dad has told me of how he's seen some of them gambling away in Luisiana when he goes there once in a while for fun.
And as for those who are pregnant and hungry, and beg for money. It's pathetic.
I don't fall for that crap since the hospitals will give you a meal, and put you in a halfway house, and there are places where you can go in and have a meal when you are hungry, and are places where you can crash for the night.
You really want to know why they don't go there? Because they are too friggin lazy.
There are many centers in my city, but the catch is that they have to have a job. They don't even care if you make 2bucks a day, as long as you work, and they will even give you a job, and even monitor your employer to make sure that he pays you what you need to be paid and that you don't get abused!!
But alot of them don't even want to do that. It's kinda fraged up when you know that there are centers in your city that will give a roof over the heads of the homeless, give them their daily meal(s) as long as they work, and they will find them a job ofcoarse, but that they don't even want to do that because it's easier for them to beg for food or money.
Heck, on the Saturday before Christmas I saw a homeless guy holding up a sign that said "Need Cold Beer". If it wasn't for my gf, I would of bought him an ice cold beer and given it to him for being honest.
As for what speedo said on them breaking the law and getting jailed for it. It's a pretty good idea considering that they will get their three square meals a day, a roof over their heads, and that they will get medical attention
