but I'm sure you already knew that. If you do start a reef be aware IT WILL BE EXPENSIVE live rock alone is $5/lb. I couldn't even begin to figure how much I put into my 120gal reef... Now I'm moving my sump to the basement and getting a lot of new equiptment which is prolly gonna run around another $1500 - 2000

(It's specialty equipment! not exactly required but makes life a whole lot easier...) However a smaller reef can be setup for a fraction of the cost. But atleast I think it's worth it.

And if you do go for it make sure you buy from a specialty store, DO NOT go to petco, petsmart! I cannot stress that enough. Reefs are a lot more challenging than freshwater, but IMO a whole lot nicer. Eventually I will post some pics of mine
