How much caffeine is too much?

What can the average person drink in the amounts of caffeine, before they go bonkers?
I just bought a case of BAWLS last night and drank a couple bottles already.

What would happen if all I drank from now was Bawls?
(80 Mg of caffeine per 12 oz. bottle.)

Well, the main thing that would happen is that you would get addicted to the caffeine. caffeine is extremely addictive. So you would be hooked on it and you would begin to need it to feel "normal". Its not good to jack up your nervous system on caffeine.

I speak from experience since I was "hooked" on MT Dews...I worked 3rd shift and I would drink like 10 of them on a shift.

The main problem with addiction is when you try to stop or when you cant get a soda...you get a massive headache.

I been caffeine free totally for a couple years or so now, much better. Much more even and predictable energy levels.

LOL Well a bunch of us were talking about geek stuff in the IRC channel and then we started talking about drinks. Then I figured I haven't had a bottle since last year at a LAN party. So I decided I would go get a case. NO traffice or lines..

Well if I go to a LAN party it will be nothing but caffeine for the duration of the LAN. After that things will go back to normal.
Just got a case of Bawls and was wondering since last night I drank about 8 bottles..
Wondering if that's wrong?

Dont sweat it. It is fairly hard to OD on Caffeine.

Just remember, when you start trembling, and your hands feel cold(without it being actually cold), and you lose the fine motor skill in your hands you have taken too much caffein and you should stop for a couple of hours.

Otherwise Caffein has been linked to heart palpitations. That is basically the heart doesnt bive a full beat, or it skips a beat.
