I'm looking through pricewatch and notice that you can buy the motherboard and the chip seperate or together in a "combo".
The motherboard I want is $112 and the chip $130. That would be $242 together. Yet, in the "combo" section, the lowest price for these two is $294. I would think that if you buy both together, they get more of your money, so they would price it cheaper. Something like that. I just want to know why they price it higher.
I'm not completely sold on pricewatch, but usually if you buy a combo as opposed to a single CPU/MOBO from the same company it is cheaper. It doesn't make sense any other way
Check resellerratings and make sure they are reputable before you buy
Reseller Ratings has a price searching feature in it, but it doesn't seem all that useful because it doesn't have nearly as many stores as pricewatch (though it shows the RR scores of the stores right next to the prices). It's almost exactly the same thing as www.pricegrabber.com
