stubbies= short brown bottles of beer OI! gimme a VB!
No Fosters either, they just make that stuff for us yanks..
Although it's made by the same folks, CUB Carlton United Breweries..
boot= trunk of the car, unless you're drivin an old VW beetle, then it'd be in the bonnet

If ya can wash down a slab of stubbies, your are quite the drinker, that would be a case of beer here in the states..
but more than likely you'd be laughin' at the gutter/givin' a chunder.

ute= pickup truck kinda thing, like our version of the chevy El Camino. (which actually means "the road" in spanish.)
