country music fans help needed

i was heading to the airport last friday morning and i came across a country station playing a certain song. i am not a big country fan,but this song was different. it had no computer enhanced/blended harmony,and the instrumentals were rather funky. the trouble is, i can only remember a few words from the main lyrics of the song. heres what i can remember:

"You re my _______,

You re my________,

You re my lover,

You re my friend"

this line is the main "topic" so to speak,of the song. so the title may contain some or all of this lyric.

also,the above rememberance will have a high possibility of error.

but i do remember there were four small statements beginning with "youre"

any ideas??
