So far ive been self employed, offering my computer services for a price to friends and family, and friends of friends and family. (it really feels like being unemployed since my jobs were few and far between).

but now it seems that may come to a end, as a local computer shop is considering me as Pc technician. from what i understand i will be either doing assembly/repair or running network cables around and making them or both if i get the job. I am pretty much just outta HS and Jobs are scarce around here thats why many ppl commute into the valley. but this place is only a 10-15 minute drive. and i may also get to travel. the best part is that ill get experience and thats what seems to count in the industry. but anyway i need to give them a DMV printout and it sounds like i may start on the 2nd of jan,

so i ask for your prayers or if you don't pray a good luck will do.

Gettin' your foot in the door is critical to the IT industry!!
Once you get in, give 150% learn ALL you can.. and when you're sick of seeing PC's ... learn more!! lol

You can have big shiny medals, and really fancy paperwork but that doesn't give you as much as good ol' fashioned experience in this line of work

Also beats spending all your time in a job with little chance for advancement. Best advice I've ever gotten. Be the best there is in your field of work, or at least make 'em believe you are. I've found success in every job that I've approached with this philosophy.
