Misc Lieberman as president?

Har har. Does anyone else think the reaction in the middle east would be priceless enough to consider switching parties for the election?

Lieberman: Calm down Arafat.
Arafat: Jewish infidel!

Lieberman: We're gonna spank you Hussein.
Hussein: Tis a Jewish conspiracy! The US is run by jews! Infidels!

(for those that don't know, Lieberman is Jewish)

I wouldn't really vote for him, but the reactions in the middle east would be amusing.

I think Lieberman will not make it. If anyone can beat GWB it will be Kerry.

LOL, Avicus!

I agree with Shahani, John Kerry has GOT to be the main man in the Dem camp.

I think the reaction in the usa would be equally amusing if you put a Muslim as head of state

CM: Can a non-Muslim ever become head of state in any Muslim country?

A View from afar.

I cant see how Joe Leiberman could inspire anyone with that slow nasal drawl.
Saw John Kerry for the first time today, this man looks like he wears a caricature of his head, as his head.

Now that Al has walked away from the nom race.
[Cant say I blame him, was on a hiding to nothing, although methinks he'll be back, 2008.]

Looks like a lottery draw for the Dems.
Who will need to find a good talking head.

Funny, just as the mid terms give the GOP the senate majority.
And GWB strides into a war of his own making.
The Republicans descend into civil war.

Nickles will oust Lott.
There appears to be bad blood being let.

The media would like to know, who's likely to line up against GW.
Two years out from the Presidential vote!

Kissinger finally does something honourable.
Which highlights the original poor decision.

George Senior had one term.
GW?

See the price of Oil is now $35 US.

May we live in interesting times?

ChrsR.

Uh not sure I get what you mean. A Muslim could never become head of state in America or any Western country. So I don't understand what you are alluding to.

Well, you say it would be amusing if a Muslim is made head of State (in the US I presume). So I asked that this is as improbable as a non-muslim head of state in a muslim country.

Carlos Menem, former President of Argentina, was born a Muslim, but converted to Catholicism when he decided to go into politics.

Kerry's good, (Vietnam Vet a plus!), Gephardt's ok too. Either one would take Bush to the cleaners in an honest open debate, hands down. I like Lieberman but since he's a Jew, he'll have too many roadblocks ahead of him. I wish it weren't the case. Remember when Kennedy was running? No one thought a Catholic would make it either; too subserviant to the Vatican, etc. I think Lieberman would be a greater friend to the Islamic world than any of the other guys. He's certainly make Israel toe the line much more than any of our previous administrations.
