Whats that arcade game..
there is a game that i can only remember playing in arcades..
you get a little airplane thing, like a little fighter..
you move left and right along the bottom, and shoot everything, there are powerups and special attacks.. after a few power ups the things you shoot just get insane.. and there are flying enemies.. tanks.. all kinds of things, all shooting at you

ohhhhh do you remember the graphics quality? or was it old school arcade? at first i was thinking space invaders. then i remembered another one. but i can't think of the name. i know they made TONS of clones of it. and Redhat8 comes with a clone. Like R-type but verticle scrolling right? i really want to say it startes with a G...

I think that's Raiden series. But there's lots of other titles just like that.

something midway, Battle of midway? Skyshark for the nintendo, (but that was only 1 player)
There have been a fair amount of that style of game.

Strikers 1945 (maybe 1941)!
Excellent game, I have it for MAME.
For varification, one of the special 'bombs' calls in a B-29 with some BIG guns. Blows away anything but bosses.
