Not possible.
Some of our muslim members have said this could not happen.
So it must be false. |

Yes, it must be untrue as Ep says.
But that don't mean we shouldn't kick Butt anyway. | |

Well, if the Bush Administration says it's received "a credible report", then it must be true, of course.

We are going to kick his butt no matter what. But a good reason makes it a little more saleable and they are in the process of getting this.
Ya gotta admit it though Saddams got to have some big cubes, Unfortunately he's a moron.....

Theo,
What makes you believe that Bush is Hyping or lying about the saddam threat? Why are you so **** sure that he does not have credible evidence warranting the destruction of iraq. You and all the Bush haters simply think your sources of information are so much more reliable than the British, and American governments. As well as all the governments which voted for the resolutions in the UN council?
So saddam does not pose a threat because no one has brought you saddam's war plan or documentation for your review? I am glad to be in the presence of such greatness.

The second link is about Iran building a nuclear facility. The international body monitoring nuclear reactors has also been notified and Iran has agreed to inspections by that same body.
What the hell is the big deal about it?

Nukes in the hands of terrorists is not good. This is a step in that direction and another country we must worry about. Initially, I must admit, I was looking for other sources of the NYPost story and thought this was it. I was wrong.
As for other comments, there is nothing to lead us to believe that our Commander in Chief would lead the US population astray. There is no ulterior motive and no one has given evidence that there is one (key word here, the left came emote all they want, but do they have evidence? History would lead me to believe that they will never have any).

| Why? Because they don't follow the desires of the American government? Come on, give me a fricken break.
A country has the right to self-determination and pursue goals that it sees fit, even if that includes the possession of nuclear weapons. Every time the American media spouts some rhetoric about foreign states possessing, or pursuing nuclear weapons, it makes me more cynical regarding the US and it's obsession with blind irony. Americans constantly fail to realize the irony in their statements and actions.
I think it's time for America to clue in and realize that there are other nations that have the right to determine their own actions. |

Iran is full of terrorists. This is a step towards nuclear weapons being in the hands of terrorists. I will make it simple.
Nuclear weapons + Terrorists = nuclear explosions in the US and Israel
I know that does not directly hurt Canada, but I think you can see our reasoning. If you want to feel that way about the media, then go ahead. I only HOPE you are right and that there is nothing dangerous here. But, American leaders are taught to be proactive instead of reactive, hence why we win wars. If we wait until we get nuked, then we have waited too long.
They (terrorist nations) can have all the nuclear reactors they want for energy, but when it starts to make weapons-grade plutonium... That's a different story. But then again, Canada is not high on the list of important places to attack so...
I think I understand why you and other Canadians are cynical. It is the same reason that we have the extreme left in the US. The liberal media brainwashing is effective. If you don't see the terrorist threat, then either this has already occurred or you aren't thinking two steps ahead, because the threat is plain. If you don't think there is no chance for hostility, think back to 1978 and our embassy... and more recently, the terror attacks funded, trained and carried out by Iranians.
