i was in the shower earlier(i do alll of my in depth thinking in the shower), and i was thinking how much timo has helped me. i have been here over a year and i realized that i had learned more about tech stuff here than anywhere else online or otherwise. i figured it was about time to say thanks to Scott and all the mods and everyone else who has contributed to the community. Thanks everybody!!!

No problem, Drew. Honestly I can say that the vast majority of stuff I learned in this area has been on Scott's sites or was directed to visit by member's of the forums. They have been an invaluable asset to me as well. Thanks to the contributors.

I, too, have learned heaps form members and mods on this site (not in the shower, though! )

I still like to find out stuff for myself mainly, but it's great when ya can ask something and get such a great, speedy response from the great members on this site!

TechI-M-O is the superior tech help site on the Net, IMO.

I'm not even sure how to begin, This place and sysopt before it
has had a profound impact on my life.My english skills are much much better now then before i joined and i wouldn't be working as a computer salesman if it wasn't for sysopt/techimo

I've learned so much on these forums and i've even made some IRL friends, i just love this place.

I'll probably always be a kind of a knothead in dealing with computer issues (maybe a brain defect, I'm starting to think... )

But at least now, a year later, I DO "get" some of the chatter, and I really enjoy that!

Main thing that amazes me is the friends and acquaintances I have been so fortunate to make here!!

I "Lurked" at Cystpop for about a year trying to figure out what language was spoken there;;

What in the world is a BSOD, IPF, GPF, IMO, IMHO, BTW, YGM, YGPM, LMAO, ROTFLMAOSTC, POS ,, oh I did figure out the last one pretty easily

After lurking forever it seemed, I sheepishly stuck my head in and joined.. Changed user names about 6 times hopefully no one would connect my particular spelling errors and know it was ME.

Know I'm certain that I drove Scott crazy with all the usernames from the same IP Address

Changed usernames twice to keep from making Senior member, as stoopid as I was ,, becoming a Senior member should mean that I knew SOMETHING about computers, NOT !!

4+ years, and I'm still here, still not a clue about computers,, some are more dense than others
