Heh heh heh, since this is a "family oriented" place, I'll keep my opinion to myself.

I reccomend a Gamecube or PS2. I'm not fond of the Xbox myself.
Games are a good choice, but it really all depends on what he likes.

How about an electric or acoustic guitar. There should be some interest on his part. I like the idea of a digital camera. My son loves mine and they have some good fun with the images.

Thats what I would go with. I got my first comp worth building on and upgrading for my 15th. Since then I have been in love with hardware. I had some previous experiance mainly colecting old stuff but I didnt know what to do with it all. Now its put to good use.

PS2 would be a gift any kid would fall in love with. I got one for my son last month for his birthday and he loves it! Just the other day, he got ATV fury and now I'm in love with the system! LOL

A friend of my got his twelve year old nephew and niece a pair of BB Guns (Airsoft, made by Tokyo Marui). One was a M16A2, the other was a P-90. They are exactly the same size, shape, and weight as the real thing (which is why the niece got the P-90...no way she could use the M16), and even are compatible with accessories like sights and slings for the real one. He brought them over to my place to try out-they are a blast to play with. Their parents were worried, until he let them play with the one he has (I think it's a German M44...maybe a M40...he's a big gun nut, I am not, so I'm not sure), and they got hooked. Of course, he was being a very nice uncle, as they cost $250 each or something. Of course, the one he had cost nearly a grand! (You can get similiar ones for much cheaper than this...)
...of course, I don't think this is what you had in mind...
(99% of fifteen year olds love videogames, can't go wrong there, if you know what to get.)
