Plumming and H2O preassure ?

The water preassure for showers and toilets are not good in my house. Is there anything I can do to increase it?

Pipes may be clogged. A booster pump is one option.

This is a 6 month old house, so I don't think the pipes are clogged. I was pretty much like this when we 1st moved in.

Are you on a well or city water?

If it's city water, there should be a water pressure regulator (well, we have 'em in CA, anyway. They're located right over the main water shut-off valve.).

Here's an easy go-to: Check the main shut-off, see if it's cranked open all the way.

Also, is this a two-story (or more) dwelling?

Check the shutoff valve in the manhole see if it's all the way on.Sometimes they get careless and don't open the valve all the way

I think it is called a split level.

Yeah, already checked the main shut off. They use a single lever, not a valve.

Crawl down a manhole?? I'll live with my dribbling pressure. Our manual mentioned something about some cap left on because of winter. Does that have something to do with it?
