This feels wierd...............
This afternoon, I get a call from my sis, asking me to go out a bit early to let her dogs out for a bathroom break, so to speak. Now mind you, I was under the impression that CE, while out this morning, had taken care of that already, but it turned out that he had not. So, I was going to have to leave an extra half an hour for work.
I started getting ready, and while waiting for my hair curler to heat up the rest of the way, I decided to play a game or two on the computer.
That is when the phone rang again. I was thinking, "Oh great, now what did I forget to do For sis?" As it turned out, it was one of the managers from work, telling me they had to cut staff for the evening, and would I like the evening off? Of course I said yes!
Now comes the weird part, it took me from that phone call, right through taking care of the dogs, and right into the beginning of my shopping trip to realize,
Today Was Friday!!
Unless I am sick, I very rarely am scheduled off on the weekends, let alone, get offered the night off then!
I keep feeling so strange, like I am waiting for a call from them, wondering where I was, and why I didn't show up for my shift! lol
