I'm sure some of you remember my goofy posts in the past and wondered, who the hell is this senile old fart?! Well, I'm back, as Arnold would say. Anyway, my plan for this winter is to drive down to Florida and see a Shuttle liftoff. Then I'll head west to Arizona and see the future World Champion, Chicago Cubs, in spring training! Eat your hearts out, you guys!
Hope springs eternal! But I've got this feelin' about the Cubbies! Problem is, I've had this feelin' about the Cubbies since I was 6 years old! I deserve better than this! All Cub fans do.
NOOOOOOOOOO!!!! The Cubs can't win!! I want to be able to have a "100 Years of Mediocrity" patch. But of course I love to see them win. Everybody loves the Cubs.
glow, I used to live about 15 miles from Cape Canaveral, you are in for such a treat! Best of all are the night launches! So if you miss a night launch, you're just going to have to put it on your agenda for the next trip!
Who wouldn't love the Cubs?? They're not a threat, so why hate 'em? Unless you're a White Sox fan of course, and then your opinion doesn't matter anyway.
Loving and hating are 2 different things. If one doesn't love the Cubs, does that mean that they have to hate the team? I certainly would not think so. As for why not love the Cubs, what is there to love?
But of course I love to see them win. Everybody loves the Cubs. 
So if you miss a night launch, you're just going to have to put it on your agenda for the next trip!
