But even though I live in the Capital of the Free World, I'm in a single-family house with no kids, so I get to shovel the walk and the 30 front steps. And I have to look out for drivers who never learned how to drive in weather.

I wish I had snow. I just love spinning around in parking lots in my car. I live in BC Canada, so I SHOULD be getting some soon

Addendum: I just finished shoveling my front sidewalk, and my face is still cherry red. I'm saving the steps for tomorrow.
Shoveling snow and mowing lawns are probably bigger cardiac threats to geezers like me than french fries. But I survive to stuff my face another day: my reward is pot roast and potato pancakes tonight!

heh, it took me an hour and a half to drive into the capital of the free world.. at least you don't have to drive very far if at all lol
normally a 40 min drive
then came home, and I actually shoveled which I rarely do hahaha
Just had to shovel the steps and the sidewalk.. not very much.. I did my fill for the winter, the roommates can do it the rest of winter

And what's up with this anyway??? You guys get all this snow, and I get what? A dusting...that's it. Oh, and single digit temps in the morning and 20's the rest of the day.
