Talk What Would Jesus Drive?

I heard recently that there is yet another group that think they can save the world by getting rid of larger vehicles -and this time they are dragging the name of Jesus into their cause - I was pleasantly relieved when a good friend of mine explained it to me in terms even I can understand:

What would Jesus drive? -Well, let's see... hmmm single guy, carpenter, has 12 buddies that go with him everywhere... maybe a crew-cab dualie? ...or a possibly a large SUV...?

Ford E350 extended body!!!

Or the monster Dodge van my aunt and uncle have.

A military hummer? Can you fit 12 people in one of those??

Ooooh, how about a deuce and a half? The ecos should be happy with that, since a deuce and a half will run on anything that's combustible and liquid (including strong liquor).

Come on, it's Jesus. He's famous. He'd wouldn't be driving at all. He be in the back of big'ol stretch limo. Ya know, one of those puppies with duel rear axles. Probably getting about three to five miles per gallon.

I dunno, Jesus was a hard worker. I think he'd prefer to drive his buddies around. Which isn't to say he wouldn't still be in a stretch limo. One with a pool, no unnecessary foot cleansing!

I doubt Jesus would even have a car. If he did, it would be an old, worthless, beat up truck which was held together with fencing wire, I reckon.

Don't forget Jesus was a nobody, not a rich-and-famous. I doubt he would have a use for a limo.

And he was from a very poor family; a hardworking, poor family, in a poor town.

So more likely he'd live in a ghetto or slum, if he was here now. And help folks.

IMO, anyway.

Cheers
Mick
