Kids What are you afraid of?

Found an interesting page tonight, and made me think.. what are you afraid of?

http://www.phobialist.com/
Some really ridiculous sounding ones in there!

Myself I HATE bugs.. I wouldn't go so far as calling it a phobia but definately can't stand the little buggers...

However, that list is pretty crazy so thought it might be interesting to read

Maggots. Specifically, coming back to a squirrel carcus several days later, flipping it over and finding hundreds of white wormys swimming inside of it. I don't get grossed out easy at all...that is #1 and has yet to be beat. Also, handling decayed animals...that's another one that would be hard for me to do (not impossible). Not to be confused with "Necrophobia- Fear of death or dead things".

My hands get sweaty at heights (even in movies and video games)...not afraid of them though.

haha. Top of list, in alphabetatical order, begins with the numbers before going to the letter "A". This is all there is before "A":
Quote:
FEAR OF:
13, number- Triskadekaphobia.
8, number- Octophobia.
That's it??? Why only two? 13 I can understand, but why the number 8? Is nobody scared of the number 9? or 11? or 666? or pi? or 2112? or 69? or 0? or XXIV?

And another thing...why is this phobia: Automobile, being in a moving - Ochophobia

different than this phobia: Car or vehicle, riding in - Amaxophobia

And did you notice this one:
Computers or working on computers - Cyberphobia

Cyberphobia? How cliche is that? They couldn't come up with a more techical or "official" sounding name than that?

One more thing. This was funny:
France or French culture - Francophobia, Gallophobia or Galiphobia.

It's funny because there's only one for France, not all the other counties.

Oh, just one more thing. I guess these are the type of people that we'll never run into here at TechIMO:
Opinions - Allodoxaphobia
Opinions, expressing - Doxophobia

Ok last one I promise. Now come on here! I know someone snickered when they made this one up:
Semen - Spermophobia

Me, I have Phobophobia.

Ochophobia seems like just being in the car (moving or not) scares the person. Amaxophobia sounds more like the car has to be moving. Ridiculous either way?? YES!!! hehe.

Phobia's are irrational fears....and some of these fears (like those above) are just way past irrational...they border on sheer ridiculousness (spelling?)

Equinophobia-as long as I'm on the opposite side of the fence I'm fine, but I freak if there's nothing between me and the horse.
Was nearly trampled by one at the age 0f 7.

Figures there is no name for my fear...
I terrified of pi, absolutley terrified!

If I see it, I just have to eat it! Only way to save myself!

I'm also a little Ballistophobic.... but I think that's normal.

Gee, Pentheraphobia- Fear of mother-in-law. (Novercaphobia) that one seems pretty normal too!

Any of you guys have Venustraphobia?
I thought Xenaphobia was what Howste has, isn't it?
