If you wanted to draft up an (obviously weak) contract that you would have someone sign if they were giving you permission to use their name as a character's name in a comic book series, what would that sort of contract be called, and where could I see an example of such a contract?

You may actually be able to find a form at Office Max that will fit the bill. I stumbled across their legal forms one day...I was really suprised at what they covered. Next time you are by one, you might want to remind yourself to check them out.
