Well not shy, just nothing online .Guess I could try to upload a piece of something to listen to.
How bout you JP, got anything?
What kind of music do ya play?
I play kind of a mix of ZZ top, Stevie Ray Vaughn,Mashall Tucker, kind of rockin blues type of style.
Anyway I'll see if I can come up with a sample later

Alright you asked for it. This is a section of a song I'm working on at the moment.
Drums are the PC Drummer Pro
Bass guitar through the PA Board, no amp.
Guitars are through a Fender stage lead 212, line out to the PA Board.
I use an Aria Pro Knight Warrior I have played for 15 years
Done with Internet Tape Deck, and a 400mhz AMD machine with an ESS Solo 1 soundcard.
effects applied after recording to each track individually then mixed together on Acoustica MP3 Audio Mixer. Click Here If Ya Dare
BTW: I can only do uploads under 1 mb
Let me know what ya think

Sounds decent, guitars are a little low, maybe 2 much drums.
Ive got a lot of little things like that recorded, just little short instrumentals...I never really know what to call them...interludes?...ditties?...reprises? who knows lol.
I wanna get some stuff online though, lotsa work involved in setting up all that gear again lol, unfortunately that means in my already cramped living room. Plus the fact that I cant exactly "air-out" my 100 watt carvin tube amp in my apartment building...the walls are such that if I sneeze up here on the 3rd floor, the guy on the first floor says "God Bless you". (definitely not a place for newlyweds)

I have a nice little 12x16 room that i use to play music in. I got it pretty well soundproof. I can blow the dust off the JBLs at 3 am and no police, so I'm doing good I think.
I'm still playing with the gear as well. But it does have a lot of potential, IMO.That is actually a whole song, but I couldn't upload it due to size
lol, my wife would freak if I cranked that thing up in the house

To be honest with you...Id have a hard time explaining what mine sounds like...hehe...Id rather post some up and have someone else TELL ME who/what it sounds like...
What would it sound like if I did this, took a cassette deck, took the headphone out of that into the mic/line input of my sound card (ac97)...what would I do then? just start windows sound recorder??
I guess that would work for just a quick n dirty way to post something up with a lowfi sound quality.
Maybe I will try it....now if I can figure out where any of my tapes are....have not listened to 'em in about a year.

I would go from the lineout of the deck, into the line in of the soundcard.Prolly make a much better recording. MP3 Mixer, is a good proggie to record with.I think the free trial will work for 30 days unrestricted.
Creatures, if ya got a keyboard/piano that has midi out, you can use the gameport on the sound card as a midi input. And with like fruityloops, you can use your piano to control the instruments in the program.I want to try this myself, I still have to buy a midi keyboard

| Look Here, you can even use the computer keyboard as a midi input device. It's fun to pay with
