ok, ads are ok, pop under, and banners, I can live with them but when they start talking and making noises like the one I just got did, it really ticks me off. Please do something, talk to your ad provider and tell them that audio ads aren't acceptable. I guess it's time to look for a good banner ad blocking program if this continues, though I hate to hurt the site's revenue.

The orange 'talking character' one on the TIMO homepage? It's audio activated onMouseOver.. so.. if you don't roll your mouse over the ad, it won't 'talk'

I'm actually quite sick already of the video preview on Aol 8.0

Seems that every other day they throw some short video clip on there, and for those of us and dial up, causes everything to load after the clip and there is no way to turn it off.

that ad has GOT to go, it's crossed the line on being annoying.

the one that drives me insane is I think its on news.com.. but it takes up about 80% of the page for the advert at first but once its finished it rolls back up to the top

I don't run my speakers cept when listining to music, so I don't hear such.

I second what vass said, those ads that float across 80+% of your screen really really tick me off. A rollover sound ad is annoying but those that just float across your screen suck. the day i see one of those here will quite possibly be one of my last. However, i'm not about to leave over my current gripe.
