Tech (rant) I GOTTA clean this HOUSE!

GOTTA clean this place up! I'm having family and friends over for Thanksgiving, and I can't let them see what a slob I am! I mean, sure, they know already, but why remind them? I need to join the ranks of dutiful people who have spotless houses, which project their owners as responsible Grown-Ups. Either that, or poor people whose inner landscape is so stark that they think doing the Rhumba w/the Hoover sounds like a swingin' time...

Uh, oh. I'm just jivin' myself. I gotta CLEAN THIS HOUSE! Now generally, I'm the kind of guy who cleans behind the commode BEFORE the germs have a chance to form their own Voting League (not surprisingly, they always vote against anything w/bleach) ...really, I'm not so bad...there's some folks on this very board who I've had the pleasure of entertaining here, and although some of you may have noticed the furballs (composed primarily of cat fur, shed over the summer) that seem to be re-grouping themselves into a a whole new animal, it's not like anything JUMPED UP AND BIT YOU, did it?

Of course not. that's because I'm such a good housekeeper!

Oh, who am I KIDDING?? I gotta clean this place UP!!
Although it is a known scientific FACT that children who live in absolutely SANITARY environments suffer more health problems than those children in LESS antiseptic environs. Didn't know that, did ya? This has to do with their bodies developing hardy immune systems as a result of exposure to...well, NATURE, let's call it... and let me tell you, this group here is healthy as horses!

Although we're all grown up now, and there's really is no need for all of this extra...Nature, as we're calling it. Which only leads to the depressing conclusion that I gotta clean this HOUSE!!

Here is something I've recently discovered that may be of interest to the "computer-minded" among us...if you take a bottle of Windex spray, and apply this substance to your monitor, and rub the resulting sludge with a paper towel, your screen will become incredibly bright... I think I shall apply this strategy to the TV set, too, and see if this technique improves the picture.

Actually, I have several of these innovations I'd love to share with you, only I gotta go clean house.

You take a stick with a sponge on the end, fill the kitchen sink with water, add something to make it bubble, stick the sponge end of the stick in the water, then rub the floor with the sponge.

I saw Martha Stewart do that once.. er someone.

LOL Surreal!
Actually, I think that is something I should try.

The carpets are another matter. I have heard that vacuum cleaners are hazardous to those of the male persuasion; in fact, here's a link if you don't believe me, although I highly recommend against anybody actually clicking it......... Don't look at this

So my reasoning is, it's better to live with a little Nature than it is to alter one's own, if you get my drift.
