Hehee, These Guys HATE AOL!

I heard about this on NPR (Nat'l Public Radio):

There's these guys who have decided to do battle with the AOL monster...seems they don't like their mailboxes overflowing with AOL CDs, and have decided to collect a million of these things and drive them to AOL HQ (in one one of the Virginias...hmmm, nice road trip!) and give them back to AOL...

The 'art' statement to be, "We're returning your CD's, we don't want them!

And then dump a million AOL cds on their doorstep!!!

TOO FUNNY!!

AOL should distribute them on CDRW's. They can even keep their artwork on the CD. At least then they would have a purpose.

Back in the old days jman I used to collect AOL floppys from everyone. Just quick format and reuse.

Remember Bond's Austin Martin from Die another Day? Remember the auto-tracking shotguns on it? That's what they should do with a million AOL CDs...outside AOL's HQ

Of course, I'll donate all my AOL CDs to this cause (I'm a former user of AOL (1993), so I get alot of the suckers).

My kids know how much I hate AOL and that I use them for skeet practice, so . . . . . . . . . . . . they like to grab a handfull and add them to my skeet box when ever they find them in a store!!

wow, I remember seeing this site back in Sysopt and they're still not up to 1,000,000!! hard to believe!

On the radio interview, they said they were up to something like 89,000 CD's...I don't figure they're in any hurry, unless these guys live in apartments, which might make 'em a little fidgety.

So let's bomb 'em with AOL CD's.
