Sig

Hey, everyone, as you know I am new to this particular forum. I'm trying to get my sig to work, and it isn't showing up. I'm planning to use the same custom sig pic a friend made for me on another forum, seen here on my GeoCities account where I host my pics. Well, I put the stuff into the profile box and even the text didn't show up. A little help here?

I don't know about you, but I'd love to use my sig. I bet if you had a custom sig, you'd use it. Anyway, why did you say, "Thank God we don't allow sigs?" Have people abused sigs in the past? Any why is there still a thing under profile for sigs when we don't use them?

Exactly OuT! I enjoy a "cool pic" just like the next guy...but once is enough in a forum.

BTW, if were were allowed to have sigs, OuTpaTienT would have a POVRAY traced pic that would suck up all of our bandwidth.

You know it. Animated ray traced image. It might take an hour to download (on broadband) but it'd be cool looking.

yea the few other forums I visit I ALWAYS turn off sigs cause they're SOOOOOOOOOO annoying. Then you get into animated gifs and some even allow flash

So NO SIGS!! lol they're annoying
makes a MUCH cleaner flow of the forum without them

They don't soak up bandwidth is you do something called host them yourselves. AKA, NOT LEECHING. Still, I miss my sig. I can still get an avatar if I figure out how.

after 51 post you can choose an avatar. For the poor people on dial up it takes to long for pages to load when you have a bunch of sigs. BTW Community post don't count and spaming the boards is not a good way to get your post count up either, just usefull post.
