Bush "not a moron"

It's nice to have it official, even if it does come from Jean Chretien (not always the most reliable source).

Good thing we didn't need his determination. The only people still working the moron angle are, well, morons. Get over it, you guys lost pitifully.

But perhaps the reporter misheard "quel Chretien" as "quel cretin"?

Good information, Theo. Now we can all rest easy this weekend, reassured that Bush is doing the right thing in Iraq and elsewhere.

No more worries.

Bush needs to give more information about Iraq before doing anything, but even if he doesn't I'm glad Clinton or Gore aren't there. At least we have someone respectable in office, unlike when Clinton was getting **deleted** in the oval office while on the phone. Followed by Clinton's perjury and attempts to circumvent the law, of course.

That kind of language is NOT allowed on this forum.

Umm Avicus you could have put the Clinton situation in the oval office a different way.

WEell every body has a right to their opinion about Bush, but the reality is that any modern Presidency is an amalgam of Official Advisors and unofficial ones and Presidents by and large are as good as the "Kitchen Cabinet"--to be distinguished from their actual (err...Ofiicial") Cabinet.

In regard to the Poster who wrote that the Dems lost badly or such, well, actually it seems to this writer that the Presidential Election was actually an utter DISGRACE.

Ironically, daDooG DOOG wrote a Post about how moribund the election counting sysytem, which is prone to fraud on either side, how failure prone these machines are--many leftover from the thirties--and how some alternative system where back ups by Computer can be installed to would not '1984' the voting process. Even something as simple as having x-tra "back-up" machines at Voting Sites, should some machines prove non-funtional, is often not done.

I have various been involved in electoral politics in NYC since the 1960 Election (where Nixon could have challanged) and have been a poll-watcher, and have seen first hand at Voting Sites, which are often Gov't buildings have been treated.

The Florida fiasco was only the most obvious example of what goes on around the Country as I have no reason to believe the Voting Machines and the method of recording and summing the results is any better than NYC in the main.

As for addressing a President of the USA in a derogatory manner--well, more specific language with specifically referenced facts would seem more...errr.."statesmanlike".
