Prayers please

Never mind. This thread was viewed 53 times as of this edit and not one of you decided to send prayers to a person that needs it. The man has a spinal cord injury and all you can think about is a random word game, if air spins inside of tires and other trivial things. this man has the possibility of being paralyzed for life.

For those that might have gone over to the link that I had originaly posted and added your comments. I thank you.

for those that did not you have proven a theory that I have had for some time with this board.

Consider this a last post.

In all my years, I never knew a prayer had to be written or spoken aloud to be heard. Maybe someone can enlighten me?

The latest CNN/SI story says he can move all his extremities. Looks like he'll be fine.

Tell me, korgul, is it so important that folks who pray write them down? Where does it say that prayers have to be written?

And while I hate to see anyone get hurt, this guy gets paid an obscene amount of money to play an inherently dangerous sport. I don't wish injury on anyone, but this hardly constitutes a national tragedy. There are countless other less-fortunate souls who deserve our concern more. Where are YOUR prayers for them?

M-six It seems that he now can move his arms and legs. Why did you for get to mention this little clip from SI.

Maddox had no sensations, but was conscious and talking as he was strapped to a backboard. Trainers and doctors worked on him for at least 15 minutes, then Maddox was lifted onto a stretcher, loaded into an ambulance on the field and taken to Baptist Hospital's trauma unit.
