US Catholic Bishops' Conference on war with Iraq

Would war on Iraq meet the Church's standards for a "just war"? Here's the Bishops' statement. (From Salon; it's not part of their "Premium" service, so you shouldn't have to pay to see it. If you do, let me know.)

Bah! Screw the Bishops. They have more important problems to worry about within their own ranks. It is a "just cause". "Just cause" Dubya wants to kick some Iraqi ass like daddy did.

Bishops did not say a whole lot.

Stated the obvious and offered no guidence.

They basically said be careful. Now there is a superior piece of advice.

They state that there are risks to not going to war and risks with going to war. Hurumph!!!
