Really, no kidding, I had typed "An..." in the subject, read it, changed it to "A...", didn't like it, changed it back to "An...", thought about it some more, then went with "A..." since if I had to think that hard, either way was probably wrong somewhere.

Maybe I shoulda just said "W00t! Check the post count"!

It's correctly written as "A historic...". That's because phonetically the "H" is not silent in "historic".
