Celine Dion, Ave Maria
One of my lady friends mentioned liking Celine Dion, well ok I think, I'll grab her some MP3's and burn em to CD
While in progress I stumble across the old song you hear in some churches, yawn I think.
Till I play it,, HOLY COW Batman This is GOOD
I liked it and a LOT
Get ol Kazaa Lite running and see if this does it for ya.
BTW, all of the songs I've downloaded are good, talented artist I must admit, for a girl

Celine Dion has one of the sweetest voices I have ever heard. Amongst the current crowd of female pretend singers, this girl is a real standout.
Not surprised you like her style, Doc!
Cheers

| THAT WAS THE ONE!!
Last year, I was over at a friend's house, she put this Christmas collection CD on the stereo (the kind with current popstars dragging out the Dickens) and that was fine, but then she went into the kitchen to make some drinks, and this piece came on...maybe she was talking, but all I could hear was this unbelieveable rendition of Ave Maria...
She comes back out, hands me my drink and says "Todd, you're crying!" So we listened to it again...I was so addled, I forgot to find out who it was...Celine Dion, you say?
Shoot, and I used to like making fun of her! |

You outta check out her French language music, even without knowing the words it's really nice sounding.
I've liked the other renditions of Ave Maria but I think Celine does a wonderful job..
I've downloaded about 53 songs of hers in the last 3 days, on dial-up |

Shubert's Ave Maria is one of my favorites. I've never heard Celine Dion sing it, though. Have to check that out. Myself, I prefer Pavarotti, although I can see Celine doing a great job with it. She does have an amazing voice. Here's a bunch of songs named Ave Maria. And here's the composers. Enjoy.
