Say your brother/sister/wife/husband or any person who is very close to you is brutally murdered, even sexually assaulted beforehand.
And the accused was sentenced to die....given the option, would you watch? Even if you were normally against it? I saw a show on tv tonight that made me think of this. I would watch them die for my own piece of mind...just to know they're dead.

Yes I would watch. Espeacially if they're being fried in 'ol smokey, that old electric chair located in a Florida prison.  | |

Well granted I've never been in the situation to understand the true emotions but I still don't think I could watch... I typically don't enjoy watching people die even if they did harm somebody in my family. The satisfaction of knowing they were punished would give me the peace of mind I would need

I dont like the idea of capitol punishment so i dont think i would watch!

I voted no, even though I would be so mad/hurt/don't know, I still couldn't sit there and watch someone cook 
I'll take a room/30min./and a ballbat first though They can have what's left

I said no. I've seen animals die and that was rough enough, I don't think I could watch a human die.
That doesn't mean I'm against the death penalty. If they deserve to die then they should die.
Now if I stumbled upon the perpetrator in the act then I'd have to watch them die because I'd kill them, no doubt in my mind about that.
