How Ruuuude!!!!!
Well today Just arrived home from grocery shopping, ugh!
Today has rained alot so we have alot of sections of our main roads that are high watered.
Coming down the main road to go home I noticed an older lady with crutches trying to fish something out of the (approx 1 foot deep) of water. She has losted it and got her legs wet trying to fish out what ever she has lost. Just up a little head of her is a little boy about oh 13 years of age riding his bicycle.
I am in the fast lane. (gee whats new :rolleyes)
There is this white taruus ford car in the slow lane next to me just a bit behind me.
Talk about one RUDE ****insert explitives here**** She purposely drove as far right she could in the water and she sprayed an arc of water over the poor old lady that was trying to fish something out as well as the little boy riding his bike. I darn near got in a wreck witnessing this, and i thought to myself man this would be the perfect oppportinuity to pay her back with my windshield wippers. The tubes dont' fit on correctly anymore and when I turn them on it sprays and arc, I thought Man I should do it, her window is open, it would have been perfect payback for those two people who are now DRENCHED WET and COLD.
But noooooooooooooooo, i didn't have the heart to stoop to her level and do that. :sigh:
Anyways, I think it ws sooooooooo rude of her to do that, she was driving and her husband was in the pasnger seat and a child in the back seat of about 7 years of age and also a little baby in the carseat. Her older daughter kept looking back adn then looking at her mom and looking back to those poor wet people. She is probably thinking her mother is an idiot and she is right.
The mother was trying to stiffle laughs and i just wished i turned my windshield wipers on her. Why do I have to have such a soft heart so much?
Why do people have to do crap like that? HUH? I mean she is a mom and has a family? How would she feel if someone did this to her and her family?
Where do people get off doing this? She did it on purpose cuz i saw her do it.
I really dislike people like that. Don't even think how something they do will effect others.

You are not the only one who is angered by such loutish/childish behavior. What you could have done about it? Nothing. If you had tried the stunt with the wipers YOU might have been hurt.
You are a good person and generous. Do not believe that by going againt your nature that you would have changed her mind, punished her sufficiently for what she did, nor would you have "felt better" afterwards.
YOu would have mearly felt worse than you do now for having repaid hatred with hatred.

Great role model for her young children, eh? What a shame. I can't comprehend people like this.. I can't understand why they do such things to hurt people.
I'd be angry at witnessing this needless harassment, also. I would've taken her license plate number (if at all possible) and reported it.

if it was reported what are the police gonna do about it? chances are nothing! people steal your checks here in pdx and the cops catch them they basically give them a 50 dollar fine.

That's really sad Neo. Some people get a kick out of being a real horses behind. I don't understand it myself. Stupid if you ask me. I hope the daugter has a little more common sense than her mother

I think splashing people is illegal here in Ontario. We even have a system now where people can report other people for driving offences (can we say "I don't like Mr. Jones, I'm gonna say he cut me off") so when the police get a report on you, they send you a letter. If they get 3 reports, you get a visit by a police officer. Now if people were honorable enough to use it properly, then it would be a great system. However, there are people who abuse it for cowardly revenge. Anyway, what a stupid person for splashing someone....what goes around comes around, she'll get hers one day.

A guy I went to HS with used to do this exact same thing. I would always tell him to knock it off when I was in the car with him, but he never listened to me.
One day he was driving down the road and splashed some poor kid about 8 years old walking home from school. The next big rainstorm we had, he was driving down the same road and sure enough- the same kid was walking home. He went over to splash him and did. However, little did he know that the kid had remembered what happened last time and wanted revenge. He thought ahead and put a very large rock under the leaves and water in the gutter, then hid until he saw the guys car coming, popped out and started walking. Set him up perfect and made him pay to the tune of $1100 for new rim, tires, and tie-rod. I was with him both times and couldn't stop laughing at the look on his face when the car hit the rock and the little kid started laughing his head off!
Sometimes there is justice.
