large clock system (I know, this may be a long shot but...)

Anyone have any good or bad exeriences with this clock system? http://www.primexwireless.com

I would also like to hear of any alternatives. Doesn't have to be GPS related nor bell tone enabled, just a wireless syncronizable clock system.

Hmm interesting.. never seen anything like it.
Would a wireless PC with its time synced properly suffice or does it need to be an actual clock?

I have an Atomic clock that the date and time sets itself automatically and was only 20 bucks at Sam's Club.

These must be actual clocks. I plan to buy about 50 of the related clocks to put throughout our facility.

It has crossed my mind to hang the new tablet PCs on the walls and just have them run a large analog clock programs on them. Then keep them sync'ed via the OS/domain. Still too unreliable and expensive though.

The "cheapie" Atomic clock is radio controlled from the NIST radio signals. They are dirt cheap at 19.99 each from sams.

Read here: http://www.boulder.nist.gov/timefreq...adioclocks.htm

All you have to do is put a batteries in and it sets itself. They are ALL synchronized by the NIST radio frequency, but some synchronize more often than others. The one I got form sams does it once a day, the rest of the time the quartz movement in the clock keeps it close enough for general work. If you need them to be closer than 1 sec/24 hours go with the ones that synch every 4 hours or so.

No muss, no fuss.
