How much can they suppress so many murders?

They will spend their life in prison or be hanged/injected/electrsized without question.

As I said, I'm perfectly prepared to presume the guilt of the suspects, I'm not on the jury, and I can read the papers.

BUT: there are standards of behavior for the Law, too. Malvo was transferred from Federal to Virginia jurisdiction apparently in order to deprive him of his Maryland court-appointed lawyer, so that he could be questioned for seven hours without any legal representation.

The rush to execute these people seems to take precedence over any semblance of a fair trial. "Sentence first -- verdict afterwards" is Alice-in-Wonderland jurisprudence.

Due process is not there to protect the obviously innocent, who generally aren't going to have trials. It's for the tough cases.

I am frustrated!

This could have been avoided if one police man walked into the parking lot and yelled with a bull horn for them to surrender. If they grabbed for the gun you have snipers take them out quick and cheap. The overwhelming show of force caused our current woes. They needed reaction time and a sense that they could have won. Can't the police get anything right?

Epidemic, the police got it right. They wanted the publicity. If they just executted them in the car they found sleeping, you think that Bullwinkle () guy would've got so much TV time?

Or the other politicians/FBI/Police dudes?

I do agree with the tempered note of Theo's post, but what these evil guys did is unthinkable. They is nuts and they needs to be exxecutted without further dellay or cost to taxxpayer.

In fact I bet they (the perps) is just waiting to be exxecuted themselvees cause they knows they done it.

They could have gotten some 1920's style publicity with the officers standing next to the bodies nailed to a plank.

Mind you it would not have been an execution. Just a baiting, set up the situation where they think they are contending with one cop and they may take action. When they grabbed for the gun. Snipers would pound them with about 2000 rounds from 75 positions surrounding the car. Poetic justice the snipers being sniped.

Saw that in that old Bonnie and Clyde movie (Faye Dunaway one). Yeah, sniping them would be one way out.

This way they get terrorized also thinking about the day when they will be publiccliy electricised or noosed. Personally I'm with the hanging method. Pops the eyes out. Or the French guillioutine (sic) where the head after severence from neck can still see and understand what's happened for 45 - 60 seconds after it rolls to the floor.

As for the french method. That is cruel and inhumane. When the head falls it could receive a concussion. That is simply not safe.

Bullet through the brain is the most kind method of execution.

Human thought is clocked somewhere around the speed of sound. This means that if you destroy the brain with a hollow point projectile or such there would be no pain at all. By the time the receptors sense the impact they entire brain is destroyed.

So you say to go with a kind method or my two methods (nott so kinnd) - I favor the French method. They have some neat iddeas including on wine and food.

PS- no one seems to be chipping in so whhy not just duicuss this over IQC with Theo also?
