Anyone Think of Some 'DESERT MOVIE'?

Just posted a Poster for Paris, Texas with Natassia Kinsky, and made by Wim Wenders, the Gertman Filmaker here in the USA. Then I thought of Antonioni's great The Passenger which begins in Morroco.

Then I thought of Mickey O'Roarke in White Sands which was a waste of my money. And I blocked

Hmmm. yeah, Zabriskie Point --for the man who has everything--like patience

Okey, anybody can recommend some desert movies ?

Been stuck here in NYC. Wana go back to CA and then down to Baja, or across the Mojave to AZ, NM....

In the meanwhile, wanna see some DESERT Flicks ! Preferaby with a lot of scenery !

Anybody remember the 'X-Files' episode where Fox is hidden by Navajo Indians who had dicovered a spacecraft hidden under the sands? Shot in Vancouver---with a lot of red paint sprayed by helicopter !

And they cancelled that TV series LAND'S END after just 10 episodes...

DOOOOOOOG

P.S. Easy as heck to get disoriented driving around White Sands...but do it !

I think Arabian Lawrence had some desert in it

Also, Three kings (which isn't so good) is a desert movie, too.

What was that Warren Beatty/Dustin Hoffman desert flick that bombed called? Starts with an "I".

"The Flight of the Phoenix" with James Stewart.

Just make sure you got a jug of water or OJ before it starts! Man, what a great film!

How about The Desert Rats, a 1953 film staring James Mason and Richard Burton. It's about a small Australian garrison that held Tobruk from the African corps of German Field Marshal Erwin Rommel for most of 1941.
