Were You Offended?
Sometimes I have a tendency to shoot off my mouth (or my keyboard) by saying what I happen to think, or just pulling somebody's leg. Usually, it's okay, but sometimes...
Sometimes I wind up offending somebody. Thankfully, not often... 
In general, I don't intend to cause offense, but some people can get offended no matter what you do, or say. Because they are hypersensitive jerks.
And sometimes, it's because I've just been an insensitive jerk! I'm no example of human perfection (but I'm trying, lol).
But it happens. The part that is most sorrowful is, when someone reacts offensively, when you meant no offense.
It's like, "What the...."

If somebody INTENDS to cause offense, well, that's another matter. But people say things (to me, anyway) that, when I relay the story to somebody else, (because I think it's funny) sometimes that person gets offended on my behalf!! I wind up calming THEM down!
Maybe it's just people in California, all wound up so tight. I dunno. | |

Naw Knot, some people wear thier feeling out there on the end of the sleeve, and it's way too easy to knock them off  It doesn't matter what you say, you're in trouble.
I put my feelings down in ma pockets, that way they don't get hurt

Personally, my sense of humor and attitude are tests of a sort. Either you are gonna like me or hate me. Very few people inbetween.
It would be hypocritical for me to get offended unless it was a direct personal attack.
Personally, I believe in today's society, we are raising a bunch of victims.
edit: forgot to mention, what's this all about?
