Need help with...

ECONOMICS PROJECT
Does anyone have any ideas on how to make a short commercial on a computer for a project? The project is due on Wed morning.
We had to come up with our own business, products, etc. I am wondering how I could come up with a commercial for my company called "DigaTech" which has Computer/Car audio equipment.

I was wondering if there was some kind of program of that sort that would let me make something like that.
Anyone ever do something like this?

Ahh that'd be a real good idea.

Neither do I. I was wanting to keep it simple with Powerpoint..
Wondering if Powerpoint could do something like that.

I think PowerPoint can. I have seen some pretty spiff PP stuff. No idea how to do it though, I stick to the non-animated side of presentations.

Is Powerpoint an editing proggy? Hey, Mike, this sounds like a really FUN project! I'd get a videocam, write a script, and shoot and edit it...
Although I doubt that I would take it all THAT seriously....the following is NOT intended to corrupt your impressionable mind...HEH... perhaps you could do some "Jackass" treatment on it, and the principals get so caught up in what they're doing, that the product or service seems to only accidentally get mentioned!
Then make sure there's a lingering shot of the product/service at the very end, with some well-chosen sell copy.
An 'A' for sure. Or expulsion from school, I forget which.

hehe getting expelled would be ok as long as I get an 'A'.

Actually I figured I would try something new and try to do this with the computer.

Didn't want to break out the video camera just because it'd be neat to try and do this instead.

Yep, Powerpoint definately. I took a ghey computer apps class (just for the credit) but learned how to use that app whilst in it.

It wasn't that hard to learn either...combine images, maybe other video you already have either from online or homemade, record some voice on there (maybe yours with an audio filter)...
