I'd file a complaint with the City Water Department. That is health concern if the school is not addressing it. Students need to take action and file complaints.

Sometimes the prinicipal won't do nothing, they got too much to do to bother wtih that, sad yes, but sometimes students need to excerisise thier own rights. its a public school so the city should be informed that there are regular problems with the water quality.
Also if you want (not sure how much this cost) but you could get one of those small water test kits and when you see the water bad is test it and if it reads bad go stright to the principal and make your point out loud and clear and you want fresh water.
Be easier to get you and a few of your friends to file complaints with the city water department tho.

yellow usually indicates too much sulfer, which makes it smell, and taste bad. White on the other hand could be any number of things. When the water gets white at my moms daycare, it has too much Niacin in it, and has to be treated before the USDA will allow her to carry on.

Back in Michigan the water was horrible. If you filled a bottle with the water you wouldn't even THINK about drinking it. |

Water in my neck of the woods is great... have been in some smaller villages where it is pretty bad tho. My hometown HS has been on bottled water most of the year as they have an E. coli issue in their well. Nothing wrong with the city water there, or here in Lansing.

What you could do is get a sample of the water from both locations and send them to a testing facility and have it checked...

I know that in Waterford, MIchigan, many years ago, the water smelled so bad, we considered getting nose plugs, just to take a shower.............

That white water is actually probably just way over oxygenated.
Put it in a clear plastic water bottle and wait five minutes and I bet it turns clear.
