This is fascinating

http://www.induced-adc.com/

As a skeptic, this naturally seems questionable at best. But there have been thousands of patients and the success ratio is simply astounding.

I think ADC is a bunch of BS myself. But I have never been in a session personally so I guess I really don't know that it doesn't work.
I think you can convince some people of anything, if you provide them the stats on it Sounds like a big placebo to me.

There are lots of this kind of phenomena that can't easily be explained. BC might be right about the placebo effect, though. If we think it should happen, and we think it should help, it often does.

This works on the principle of faith. Unlike most people in my country I don't believe in reincarnation and the spirit living forever. But this is not really hocus pocus. It relies on belief and faith in God to overcome extreme grief.

Of course there are the charlatans out there who con innocent victims with all sorts of magic.

I am skeptical of such treatment, often it seems to be carried out by people who have no respect for the grief that others feel. This might not be the case here, but it is hard to believe since it cannot be represented properly in any kind of research IMO.

Out, you may be interested in Algee7's site. He created it after his daughter died.

BC, I'm sorry but placebo effects are nowhere near 98%. I strongly believe in the placebo effect, it's real, there's no question about that. But it really doesn't even apply to this. Placebo usually is in reference to physically taking a medication, or not.

This procedure does not claim there's any validity to an ADC other than what the patient perceives in their own mind. But what they do perceive in their mind is so profound that it is able to relieve them of their grief and allow them to carry on with their lives.

Grief from a traumatic loss can severely affect people. Sometimes for many many years...sometimes for the rest of their life. Something that can help them, something that so far has proven to have a 98% success rate, is truly a breakthrough. How could you not be in favor of something like that, or at least open minded enough to investigate it.

Anything that can help remove a person's suffering is a good thing...no matter HOW it works.

I agree

My granny passed away 6 years ago, and I watched a healthy 70 year old man, grieve himself to death in 3 1/2 years. he went from working 25 hours a week,to bedridden in 3 years. The power of grief is strong. Depression is just as strong, and when she passed away he gave up all hope and reason for living. And it was the end for him.

If this could help someone in his place, or similar, I'm all for it
