OK, I'll be out with it:
The Annual Holloween Parade !
Started as a small parade in Greenwich Village.
Eventually grew to about 20,000 Paraders and another 200,000 spectators at its peak a few years back.
Many costumes were all year in the making. Cost like $35,000 in the extreme cases.
Some so heavy and tall required two or mare to support it--like the Costume of the Original
ALIEN movie.
Couple of years it got a tad rowdy.
Guerrilla political statements.
HUH ?
I can remember when Holloween was considered a Kid's holiday and Valentine's Day for adults. Seems reversed to a point.
Anyhow, you can watch it on TV--Maybe.
At least its usually broadcast here in NYC.
Happy Halloween to ALL
And the best to Brandon this day.
