Shahani- no goblins or vampires just ghosts. The Story
It will be 5 years on Dec 26th that my father passed away. Shortly after his passing this happened.
I had come home from work one night and was watching TV. It was a warm evening and I had gotten a can of pepsi. Well the can was cold and codensation had formed on the outside of the can. I had it sitting on the coffee table. The table has 3 sections in it. Each section is a piece of glass. As I was flipping thru the channels the can moved diagonaly from one side of the glass to the other. I was about 4 ft from the can when this happened so there was no way that I could have moved it. The can was about 3/4 full so there could not have been an air bubble that formed under the can, picking it up and moving it across the table. Needless to say I was freaked, I picked up the can and proceeded to slam the rest of the soda. Trying to think of a way to explain the can's movement I had decided that the table had to be uneven, the condensation cause the can to lift ever so slightly and move across the table. It moved about 1 1/2 ft. I went to bed not really knowing why the can moved, but had come up with a way that it could have, this was enough to ease my mind and allow me to sleep.
So the next day I am telling my wife about what happened and she says that the hypothisis that I had come up with ws the most likely. I decided to test my theory. I grabbed the ball to my mouse and placed it in the center of the same section of glass. The ball did not move. I then placed the ball at the same location as the can was before its movement. Again, it did not move. Now when I say it did not move, I mean it did not roll forward, back, side to side, or any other way. It stayed at the exact place that I had put it. To me this was reason enough to believe that the table was level. It thru my theory out the window.
To this day I have no logical explanition on why, or how the can moved. All I can say is that it moved.
There have been other "sightings" from time to time since my dad died. My wife has seen a figure standing in the doorway to the kitchen. This figure was about 6 ft tall and wearing a cowboy hat. (my dad's nickname was cowboy, he always had a cowboy hat on). My kids have seen this figure also, I myself have never seen it though I have fealt something.
The most often that he is seen/fealt is around Xmas. My youngest was born on Dec 1 and my father passed away 25 days later.
