Gas used by Russians identified

Reports this morning say the Russians used a synthetic opiate called Etorphine. The following article sheds some light on why they might have decided to use this.

They may have used too much. And they should have briefed the hospitals on antidotes.

Naloxone, naltrexone are standard opioid blockers. They should have been issued to the medics who evacuated the theater.

It wouldn't have helped in my opinion Theo, the opiate was administered in such a high concentration that it would have been impossible for the medics to carry enough blocker let alone administer it to all 700 people.

The above does not mean that I agree with the method used.
