Anyone a heard of this before??

I went to a meeting tonight at the middle school here, and listened to them describe the function of this new group.Sounds awesome, and I signed up.

Basicly you (Dads,brother,uncles,grandpa) devote one day a year,month, whatever to going to school, and doing class with your kids. Positive reinforcement. Kind of a mentoring program, but you mentor your kids

Sounds like a good idea to me. I had never heard of it until tonight.Maybe some of you might like to mention it to your schools if you don't have it already

Great idea!

Just glad it wasn't in place for me. Imagine having a WW2+ combat veteran (1st Sergent USMC) sitting there in class because of you. The other kids would have beaten you blue the next day! (Or as soon as they recovered, LOL)
